Dell Saunders Reunion- July 2012

When Lincoln was 3 weeks old we went on a trip to Kim's house for the Dell Saunders Reunion. We had a wonderful time with all the family there, except Cindy & Casey, who just had their little boy Ben! We celebrated Tommy's Court of Honor and Nate & Madi getting their patriarchal blessings. We so enjoyed spending time with everyone and introducing them to our sweet little Lincoln.

On Saturday we went to the park to play. This is seriously one of the coolest, creative, fun parks that I have ever been too. Every town should have one.
There is a giant pyramid to climb on, perfect for adults and children. It's a park that really promotes playing together as a family.
Scott, Brock, and Andrew being monkeys:)

These little seats spin around so fast- especially if one of the Uncles is pushing you!
We couldn't seem to get a picture of Michael with his eyes open:)

 Coolest climbing pyramid EVER!

After the adventures at the park those who were old enough went to do Baptisms at Mt. Timpanogas temple and others went home to take a much needed nap (like me!).

Back at Kim's house we started up a game of Phase 10.

Grandpa Dell & Lincoln Dell

Grandpa had the magic touch, put Lincoln to sleep every time:)

 Lincoln and his cousin Campbell!

Sunday after Tommy's Court of Honor- we sure love these boys!
Lincoln and Tommy share the middle name of Dell :)

It was a fantastic reunion!

August 2, 2012 - Happy Anniversary to Us!

I can't believe that a whole year has flown by! What a marvelous year it has been :) We celebrated by:

Floating the creek behind our house

Playing with the hose on the trampoline

Going on our first date without Lincoln
(he stayed with Grammy)
First Stop: The Metro Express Car Wash :)
For those of you who don't know, we love car washes. Our first date was going to a car wash and then to see Tron Legacy. Then Michael proposed in the same car wash 3 months later. So it was only fitting to go to the car was on our first anniversary!

Next Stop: Dinner at one of our favorite places

 Our fortunes

Last Stop: Strawberry Milkshake baby!

Milkshake all over my shirt...well, Dena's shirt :)
When we got home Michael sent me on a treasure hunt, well more like a game of hot and cold. I had to look around all the rooms in the house trying to find something, which turned out to be this! A sweet Happy Anniversary sign/card with all my favorite colors :)

And then I gave him this, a scrapbook of the first year of our marriage at a glance. A picture from every month.

Then we went and picked Lincoln up and we all watched Kung Fu Panda 2! It was a great anniversary!
